Finally the nine months are over!
I couldn't resist to be happy after I heard the news that we were going to have a new baby cousin but it's a boy we have pretty much all boys in our family. But you know what, it's ok just more babysitting for me ha ha ha like I don't have enough children to babysit. anyways I can't wait to see what he will look like who knows maybe he'll turn out alot like me but I don't exactly think that's the best idea. So I guess i'll have to wait until tuesday to find out anything meanwhile i shall enjoy the girls I do have that's all for today bye.

Finnally our class is starting the photography unit. The photography unit is my favourite unit because you get to take so many interesting pictures and the possibilities never end. There is also a ton of different types of pictures for example there are abstract, scenery pics, close ups, panorama. And thats just a few to name. There are also a bunch of rules you could well let me say should follow to have the perfect picture it could be a picture of anything really the rules are

1.) The rule of thirds. The rule of thirds is when you take a picture of something and using a grid on your camera makes it easier you line your image up with the intersections on the grid.

2.) It should be eye catching. To make your picture eye catching have detail catch your audience's eyes.
 
3.) Has a focal point. A focal point is the part of you photo that you are focusing on, the persons attention is drawn to your focal point.

4.) No distracting backround that take away from the photo. Remove any items or plants that are getting in the way of your photo.

5.) And last but not least perspective. Take your picture from different angles.

To the left is a picture I took that I think follows all of the rules. I will also be putting a section in the passions page for my photography because I love it hopefully you like it to and will try to take a picture that follows all the rules. Good luck.

Bullying, bullying, bullying that's all everyones talking about.
Just last wednesday there was a girl named Amanda Todd and she got cyber bullied badly and she tried evrything to kill herself she evn tried drinking bleach and she still didn't die and sadly commited suicide. And i think this is terrible and it's a big mistake. I think this is a mistake because people that have gotten bullied are amazing people now look at demi lavoto she got bullied when she was younger but now shes an amazing popstar shes even in movies. so let's change the word bullying that everyone's talking about to friends, friends, friends.

Hurray kite day is finally here. Today it's kite day at school we get to 
make kites and fly them after. from the very moment i woke up from bed I rushed 
on my clothes and scurried down stairs for breakfast when i got to school the 
bell rang and all the children rushed inside to go to the assembly we walked 
down the halls into the gym and this man showed us some kites from all around 
the world he said they can get as big as 10 km long thats pretty big for a kite. 
After the assembly we went back to the classroom to do some more work because it 
wasn't our turn to build our kites yet. At the end of the day it was finally our 
turn to build our kites my kite had hearts all over it and my little buddys kite 
had a rainbow on it they were beautiful. When we had finished putting together 
our kites. Everyone went outside and flew our kites. It was like kite heaven 
there were so many kites in the sky I couldnt even see mine  p.s. I loved my 
teachers excitment.

Yesterday I went to Grouse mountain and did the grind unfortunately you have to climb it to get to the top but trust me its worth it. There is so much to do at the top, first of all its a great view and there are restaurant, cafes, gift shops, a theatre, don't worry you don't have to climb down you can take the gondola down witch is so fun when I go on the gondola everyone screams on it. When your climbing it you could see the sun rays, hear the birds, and it smells like fresh forest air and trees theres also cool benches along the way for breaks. 
It feels so could when you go down because you look and you think to your self wow I climbed all that and its so encouraging but everyone gets let down when you find out your time and it doesnt matter how long you took its just going to make you feel bad about yourself when thats not true that you succeed is what matters. We all try our personal best my time was 2:59 and I'm proud of that and theres always a next time that I can try better and I hope you get a chance to do the grind soon to and hope you have fun GOOD LUCK!
